This policy explains how Ronnie Hair Limited, trading as Space Rentals Hub ("we", "us"), handles personal information in the Space Rentals Hub app and on this website.

Who uses the app

Space Rentals Hub is used by storage and rental business owners ("the business") to keep records about their own customers ("tenants"). Tenants do not use the app.

For tenant records, the business is the data controller and decides what is stored. We process that information on the business's behalf, only to provide the app. For the business owner's own account details, we are the data controller.

What information is stored

• Business account details: business name, contact name, email address, logo, and sign-in details.
• Tenant records entered by the business: names, contact names, postal addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, units rented, rent amounts, payment records, notes, and emails sent from the app.
• Technical information: basic server logs (such as date, time and IP address) used to keep the service secure and working.

The app does not show adverts, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not sell or share personal information for marketing.

How it is used

Information is used only to provide the app: storing records, producing reports and statements, sending receipts and emails that the business chooses to send, keeping backups, and providing support. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with the business and our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable service.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data for us under contract:

• Render – hosts the app and its database on servers in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
• Resend – delivers emails sent from the app, such as receipts and statements.

Where a provider is based outside the UK, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision. We only share information with others where the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Records are kept for as long as the business uses the app. Businesses can delete tenant records at any time. Automatic backups are kept for up to 30 days. When a business closes its account, we delete its data, apart from anything we must keep by law.

Security

The app is password protected and all connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the servers is restricted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how it is used. If you are a tenant of a business that uses Space Rentals Hub, please contact that business first, as they control your records. We will help them respond. You can also email us at info@spacerentalshub.com.

If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

This website does not use cookies or analytics and does not collect personal information, unless you email us.

Children

The app is for businesses and is not intended for children.

We will update this page if anything changes and show the date of the latest update at the top.
